Environmental Event Specialist
​

Background

EMS is looking for a bright, entry-level professional interested in supporting U.S. EPA training programs. This position is ideal for someone interested in providing technical and logistical support to in-person and virtual training meetings, national workgroup meetings, and other government events. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

​

EMS seeks a quick learner who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, has excellent writing skills, and is a team player who can also work independently. A four-year degree is required; proficiency in the MS Office 365 suite of applications is highly desirable.

​

This position is based out of EMS's corporate office in downtown Silver Spring, MD. This role will require frequent travel (at least 50%) to provide meeting and training support, primarily at U.S. EPA office locations in Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Denver, San Francisco, and Seattle.

Accounting Manager and Contracts Administrator
​

Background

EMS is currently seeking a full-time professional to support and manage our accounting and contract administration functions. We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated, analytical individual. This position is based out of EMS's corporate office in downtown Silver Spring, MD. EMS follows a hybrid work model with flexible working hours.The ideal candidate will have experience with Deltek Costpoint, EMS accounting/contracts management system. This position will be responsible for administering and monitoring performance and compliance with EMS's prime contracts and subcontracts. Demonstrated experience managing federal government services contracts with both prime and subcontract relationships is a must. Experience with GSA Schedule contracts is a plus.
