Hotel Reservations

A block of rooms is being reserved at a rate of $109 per night, plus taxes, which is less than the federal per diem for Chicago. To make your reservations, call 1-800-635-1666 and inform the reservations desk that you are with the EPA Meeting in order to get the special rate. The rate is available for the nights of December 8–15. The cut-off date for the room block is November 29, 2002. After that date the group rate will be available, but only if space is available at the hotel.

Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 12 noon.

EPA’s policy is to make reasonable accommodation to persons with disabilities wishing to participate in the Agency’s programs and activities, pursuant to the Rehabilitation Act of 1979, 29 USC 791. Any request for accommodation should be made to the specified registration contact, preferably one month in advance of the registration deadline, so that EPA will have sufficient time to process the request.


Getting to the Hotel

Shuttle, cab, and public transportation services are available from Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports.

Shuttle Service: Shuttle service by Airport Express (1-800-654-7871) is approximately $20 one-way from O'Hare and $15 from Midway. Cab Service: Cab service costs $35-$40 one-way from O'Hare and approximately $30 from Midway airport.

Cab Service: Cab service costs $35-$40 one-way from O’Hare and approximately $30 from Midway airport.

Elevated Train/Subway: The Chicago Transit Authority's airport service costs under $2. From O'Hare Airport, take the Blue Line to the Jackson & Dearborn stop. Exit the station and walk 3 blocks east to Michigan Avenue. From Midway Airport, take the orange line to the Adams & Wabash stop. Walk 3 blocks to hotel.

Parking

The daily parking rate for the hotel is $11.00 for less than 8 hours and $23.00 for overnight.
